PRESIDENT BARRACK OBAMA OF UNITED STATE OF AMERICA EMERGED AS 2009 NOBEL PEACE AWARD WINNER..

The United State of American president, Barrack Obama has emerged has this year Nobel peace award winner, It worth celebrating in the world. Africans are happy about this latest development. We can trace back his origin to Kenya, in east of Africa. Barrack Obama is an African man by birth. Can this be a priority to an Africans? Yes, because this has show case to the world that African has better things to offers the world in general. President Obama was a presidential aspirant under the Democratic party in last year election, and emerged has the winner of the USA 2008 presidential election. Few weeks in office, president Obama took steps to tackle the world peace issues and also to restructure United State economy. President Obama has contributed positively to the world peace issues which led to the award giving to him today. African leaders have to learn from president Obama.


We can recall back in the previous centuries, Blacks American was treated has a slave in United Sate. They are brutalized by the white counterpart. Millions of black Americans lost their lives in countless attack by the white Americans. White Americans believe that they are superior to the black counterpart, and the blacks must be treated has a slave. Although we can trace blacks history back to slave trade business. Today’s black Americans migrated from Africa via the means of slave trade and found themselves in the United State of America. As time goes on, they stood up to fight for their right. The blacks are denied access to standard health cares treatment, denied access to social amenities, denied access to quality education, denied access to freedom, denied access to association, and even denied access to life. What a terrible life they are living then in United State. Our forefather had suffered lots from the whites. Coming down to Africa, we also suffered from the whites in our fathers land. They invaded us in our fathers land, trade us has a slave, colonized us and all our resources, both human and natural resources are exploited from us to developed their own country and living African in bad shape. Nowadays, all the states in Africa was regarded has developing states. None of African state has emerged has developed state. The evil they have done to our economy today is what we are reaping today.

United State was colonized also by the Great Britain accepted,the same country that colonized Nigeria, but my question is, are we Africans colonized the same way Americans are colonized by Britain? This has remained a debatable issue. Why are we so backward in terms of economic development? Africans are blessed with both human and natural resources, why are we failing economically? The Nobel peace award giving to the number one citizen of the world shall be a priority to us and we must imbibe the spirit of doing things in the right way. In the other words, let’s now look at Barrack Obama has our mentor because he is an African and he have the same African spirit in him. Let’s produce a leader like president Obama to rule one of the African States. We don’t have to over look this award giving to him. Let us follow his foot step in Africa. The South African economy was known has the best economy in Africa simply because they have a man like Nelson Mandela that fought tiredlessly for the survival of his people. Now who will emerge has our messiah in West, North and East Africa? Who will fight for our survival? Who will be our Nelson Mandela? Who will be our Barrack Obama? Do we have to remain backward for ever? No, someone have to come and rescue us. Africans are blessed with everything, but our problems are lack of commitment and management. We have to show the world that we are capable of handling our economy. God bless Nigeria, Africa and the world.
